Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information REM-6C17

Condition 

When the alarm is activated, the central electronic module (CEM) checks the glass breakage loops in the rear side windows at regular intervals. A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects an open-circuit in any of the glass breakage loops.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the alarm is activated.

• The alarm sounds.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in one of the glass breakage loops in the rear side windows
• Contact resistance in the terminals.
