Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information REM-4F93

Condition 

The rear electronic module (REM) checks the signal from the sensor, seat belt reminder in the passenger seat.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-4F93 is stored if rear electronic module (REM) registers too an incorrect signal from the seat belt reminder sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-4F93 can be detected with ignition in positions I or II for at least 3 minutes and battery voltage > 9 volt.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit between the signal cables
• Defective sensor, seat belt reminder.

Fault symptom[s] 

• General warning lamp lit.
