Diagnostic trouble code information

Condition 

The courtesy lighting must be on for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) to be detected. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if incorrect bits in the Central electronic module (CEM) indicate a fault and the pulse width modulated signal on the pin for courtesy lighting is 100 %.

Substitute Value 

None.

Possible Source 

• Short circuit to ground or open circuit on one of the wires to the entrance lighting (front left, front right, rear left, rear right)
• Defective rheostat.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Interior lighting does not work.
