Diagnostic trouble code information

Condition 

If the central electronic module (CEM) indicates that the windscreen wiper is somewhere on the windscreen for longer than 5 seconds and the steering wheel module (SWM) indicates that the windscreen wiper should be activated, diagnostic trouble code CEM 8F2E is displayed.

Possible Source 

• Defective windscreen wiper motor
• Short circuit to ground on the wire.

Fault symptom[s] 

Windscreen wiper motor does not work. (Wiper has stuck on windscreen.)
