Checking and replacing the component

Replace the relay, 2/91.

Activate the relay for windshield wipers on.

If the function is OK the cause of the fault was a defective relay (open-circuit in the relay coil).

Was the function OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking the cables from the fusebox to the central electronic module (CEM)
