Checking the cable between the battery and generator (GEN)

• Check that the battery is charged
• Charge the battery if necessary.

  Check the cable between generator (GEN) terminal #A1 and starter motor terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

  Check the cable between the battery positive terminal and starter motor terminal #1. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

  Remedy as necessary.
