Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-001B is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the power supply to the handset.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the handset power supply.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Handset does not operate.
• Combined instrument panel message that the handset is not functioning.
