Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0017 is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the loudspeaker signal from the carphone box to the keypad unit/carphone module.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the handset loudspeaker signal from the telephone box to the keypad unit/carphone module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Handsfree function does not function.
• Message on combined instrument panel that hands-free position is not functioning.
