• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between carphone control module A13 (terminal #13) and power supply for the handset D7 (terminal #38) for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.

  Remedy as necessary.
