Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0010 is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to +12 V in the signal to the hands-free speaker.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to +12 V in the hands-free loudspeaker signal to the carphone box and the keypad unit/carphone module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Handsfree function does not function.
• Message on combined instrument panel that hands-free position is not functioning.
