Removing The Backrest

In the cargo compartment 

• Remove the protective cover from the handle for the backrest lock
• Pull the handle to release the backrest
• Remove the floor carpet.

In the passenger compartment 

Remove 

• the two seat cushions. Pull straight up
• the side cushion according to Side cushion

Remove 

• the connector on the left and right-hand sides
• the screws on the left and right-hand sides.

Carefully fold the backrest forward approximately 5-6 centimeters. Do not damage the center console.

Remove 

• the two screws from the reinforcement strut

Lift out the backrest
