Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0002 is stored if the keypad unit/carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the signal from the carphone box to the hands-free loudspeaker.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the hands-free loudspeaker signal between the carphone box and the keypad unit/carphone module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Hands-free function does not function.
• Message on combined instrument panel that hands-free position is not functioning.
