Checking fuses

Check that carphone fuse #29 in the passenger compartment fusebox is not half burned by trying a new fuse.

HINT: After market carphone installations without VolvoOnCall are supplied with voltage through the radio fuses, #15 and #16 in the passenger compartment fusebox. 

HINT: After market carphone installations with VolvoOnCall are supplied with voltage through fuse #29.

If the carphone is now OK, the fault was due to a bad fuse.

Is the carphone OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking power supply
