Reducing the stand-by current consumption

If a car is not going to be used regularly over a three week period, the fuses for the stand-by current consuming components must be removed. This is to reduce the stand-by current consumption.

Examples of continuous power consuming components: 

• Alarm
• Immobilizer
• Radio
• Clock.
