Checking the drive function

Check:

• that the drive shafts rotate
• that the propeller shaft rotates
• the function of the clutch (M58)
• the function of the transmission.

Remedy by replacing the faulty component.

Information: 

If the car does not drive there is either not a fault in the all-wheel drive (AWD) system or a combination of at least two faults in the all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

The most probable cause of a fault if an All-wheel drive (AWD) car does not drive, is in the transmission or in the clutch.
