Possible Source 

• The bevel gear has been subjected to heavy loads due to incorrect tires
• Followed damage oil leakage.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Noise from the bevel gear
• Heavy oil leakage.

• The bonded joint on the bevel gear crown wheel has released.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Loud noise when reversing
• Loses drive sporadically. Feels that something jumps out-of-track.
