Checking the wiring and sensor

Check the connection of the ABS control unit and the yaw-velocity sensor connection for contact resistance and oxidation, as described in Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the wiring between yaw-velocity sensor:

• #1 and control unit #14 (#A14)
• #2 and control unit #30 (#A30)
• #3 and control unit #27 (#A27)

for an intermittent open circuit as described in Open-circuit, intermittent faults , an intermittent short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults , and an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .

Do the necessary corrective action.
