Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

On cars with anti-spin, the control module registers brake usage and calculates front wheel brake discs temperatures. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0066 is stored if the calculated temperature exceeds 450°C (842°F).

Substitute Value 

• ABS function not affected.
• Anti-spin function blocked.

Possible Source 

• Anti-spin control in action too long.
• Brakes on too long (brakes have been used so much that brake disc temperature has become too high).

Fault symptom[s] 

• ABS warning lamp lit.
• Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
• Anti-spin does not function.
  NOTE: Anti-spin function is deactivated until brake disc temperature is below 350°C (662°F).
