Removing the roof trim

Preparations: 

• Grasp the trim and feel where the clips (1) are positioned (the molding does not sag as much where the clips are positioned)
• Remove the roof trim by angling the trim outwards and upwards (there are 12 mounting points in the roof and four on the A-post).

• Twist off the trim as shown.

• Release the reference clip (2) at the windshield by lifting the catches (3) on the clip.
