Checking components and wiring
If the car is equipped with a 10-pin connector
Check the cable between door control module terminal #10B and power door mirror terminal #4 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults , check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Check the cable between door control module terminal #8B and power door mirror terminal #6 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
If the car is equipped with a 16-pin connector
Check the cable between door control module terminal #10B and power door mirror terminal #6 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults , check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Check the cable between door control module terminal #8B and power door mirror terminal #13 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
Remedy as necessary.
