Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-00F7

Condition 

The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the seat belt buckle.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00F7 is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the signal cable is low for longer than 3 minutes.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00F7 can only be diagnosed when you switch from ignition position 0 to ignition positions I, II or III.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the seat belt buckle and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)
• Short-circuit to ground in the connector.

Fault symptom[s] 

• General warning lamp lit.
