• Ignition on.

  Check visually whether the car is equipped with a passenger airbag. Read off the parameter "with or without passenger airbag" for the central electronic module (CEM) and for the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and compare.

  The central electronic module (CEM) responds "YES" if the passenger airbag is used in the car and "NO" if it is not.

Is the parameter "with or without passenger airbag" the same for the central electronic module (CEM) and the supplemental restraint system module (SRS)? Does the parameter correspond with what the car is equipped with? 

• YES
