Fault-tracing information
Conditions
- A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the on-board diagnostic system registers a fault in any of the internal functions of the control modules.
Fault cause
- Internal fault in the SRS control module.
Fault symptom
- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
WARNING:
There is a risk that the SRS system will not function if this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
NOTE:
In the event of an internal fault, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) must not be erased. The SRS control module must be returned to Volvo. See standard procedures.
