• NOTE:

  Corrective action must be taken if the battery lead has been disconnected during fault-tracing. See Battery, disconnecting .

• Switch on the ignition. Wait 10 seconds
• Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
• Note any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

No diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) should be stored. The SRS indicator lamp must be off.
