Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-00D1

Condition 

• Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00D1 is stored after 5 minutes if the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the central electronic module (CEM) has stored a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for seat belt buckles.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit or short-circuit in the wiring or connectors for the passenger seat belt buckle.

Fault symptom[s] 

• General orange warning lamp lit.

HINT: The diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the central electronic module (CEM) must be erased before the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) are erased.
