Removing the height adjuster

Remove the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting .

Remove: 

• the seat frame. See The seat frame 
• the bracket and cross member. See Bracket and cross member .

Remove: 

• the connector
• wiring
• the spring. See Tension spring .

Remove: 

• two plus two screws on the right hand side of the transmission
• two plus one screws on the left hand side.
