Installing the height adjuster

Install:

two plus one screws on the Left hand seat
two plus two screws on the right hand side of the transmission
the spring. See Installing the tension spring
wiring
the connector
the bracket and cross member. See Installing the bracket and crossmember
the seat frame. See Installing the seat frame
the seat. See Removing power seats, tilting .

NOTE:

Removed seat rails must always be checked for movement. Use Vernier calipers to measure from the fixed to the moving component. Both rails should have the same measurement. If not, adjust one of the rails. If the rails do not have the same measurements the seat does run parallel. This leads to increased wear and noise.
