Removing the cable.

Remove the booster cushion. See Center arm rest/integrated child seat .

Remove:

Detach the upholstery from the plastic panel.

HINT: Tape up the upholstery to the backrest.

NOTE:

Press the seat halves together.

Lock the seat halves using a self-tapping screw (1). Remove the screw (2).

Carefully pry apart the mounting for the wire reel.

NOTE:

Note the routing of the wire on the wire reel.

NOTE:

Note the marking of the spring.

Remove the spring and cable.
