Checking wiring and components

Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) #3D and the Hall sensor, and the cable between the power seat module (PSM) #4D and the Hall sensor for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults , a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Check hall sensor and replace if necessary.

HINT: The sensor should generate a pulsed signal. 

Remedy as necessary.
