Checking Hall sensor signal

HINT: The motor should be activated when the check is carried out.

• Reconnect components, connectors etc.
• Ignition on.

  Read off value.

  Check whether the power seat module (PSM) receives the signal from the Hall sensor. Operate the relevant seat motor and check whether the value counts upwards and downwards as the seat is moved in each direction.

  The value should count up or down depending on seat operation.

Is the function OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
