Function test

• Ignition in position II.
• Control lever windshield wiper in resting position.
• Activate the rain sensor function by pressing in the button on the wiper lever. Then the windshield wipers run once back and forth.
• Spray water on the outside of the windscreen (using a spray bottle) where the rain sensor is positioned
• The rain sensor should start the windscreen wiper function and sweep over the windscreen

HINT: Carry out the function test 3 times. 

• If the check is carried out with continuous sprays of water, the windscreen wiper will function until the windscreen above the rain sensor is dry.
