Fault-tracing information

Check the function of the rheostat in the audio unit by increasing and lowering the instrument lighting.

HINT: If the rheostat function is not working in the audio unit either, the fault is in the road traffic information (RTI) system. 

Is the function of the audio unit rheostat OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to Replacing RTI control module 

• NO 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
