Checking the main antenna / connector

• Check that the connector for the main antenna (4) is connected correctly to the antenna on the rear windshield. The cable for AM is marked with white stripes and must be at the top
• Remove the connector. Check the connector for oxidation
• Check if there is a shaded film on the rear windshield. This can reduce AM reception dramatically.

• Measure the resistance between the lower switch for FM (1) on the rear windshield and the ground screw (2). The value must be 7-14 Ω.
• Measure the resistance between the upper switch for AM and the ground screw. The value must = ∞.
