Checking antenna cable

Check the antenna cable between the antenna amplifier and the audio control module. Check for damage and deformation. Any damage or spliced end on the coaxial cable can alter the capacitance and therefore reduce the antenna signal
Test by installing a antenna cable loosely between the audio control module and the antenna amplifier. Carry out a new test using the "Seek" function on the audio control module to determine if reception has improved. If so, replace the antenna cable. See Replacing antenna cable
