Installing the Sirius antenna. Applies to all models

Wash the area on the roof around where the antenna and antenna cable shall be located using a mixture of washer fluid and water.
Also wash the area around the left-hand hinge of the boot lid where the antenna cables shall be secured using a mixture of washer fluid and water.
NOTE: Thoroughly remove all dirt and grease.
Wipe dry.

Take the antenna from the kit
Place the antenna to the back of the cleaned roof without removing the protective backing tape.
The antenna must be located so that the end of the cable's rubber coated section exactly reaches the end of the roof.
Measure from both sides of the roof to the antenna. The measurement must be approx. 525 mm (20 43/64") .

Hold the antenna to the roof and mark out around it with tape so that the correct position for it is marked.

Enlist help from a colleague to sit inside the car and press against the headlining under the location for the antenna.
Remove the protective backing tape from underneath the antenna and locate it within the tape markings.
HINT: The antenna can be moved carefully if it is not pressed down straight away. The tape must not make contact with the roof as the antenna has a rubber edge around the underside.
Hold against the roof from the inside while the antenna is pressed in straight down with a force of 2-3 kg (4-6 lbf.) for several seconds.
