Antenna cable routing. Applies to all models

Remove the left-hand rear window molding by pulling it straight down so that it detaches from the roof molding.
Following which, carefully pull it from the clips. Try out different angles and pushing the molding up or down.
NOTE: If the clips are in the correct position then not too much force will be required to detach them.
Remove the clips from the molding and from the D-post. They shall be replaced with new ones.

Remove the plastic molding which is fitted around the upper edge of the rear window by pushing it straight back from the edge of the window. Pull away the molding completely or so that it at least half is detached from the window.
Secure the antenna cables inside the plastic molding using butyl tape. Secure the cables at regular intervals so that the antenna cables cannot edge forwards when the car is washed.
Press back the molding with the cables remaining inside the plastic moldings cavity.
NOTE: The cables must not be routed in the groove around the edge of the window.

Route the antenna cables on down along the edge of the rear window and secure them with butyl tape under the protruding edge of the window.
Continue down to the hinge of the boot lid.

Pull the cable out at the rubber grommet (1)
Cut the plastic clamp (2) and remove it from the rubber grommet.

Widen the rubber grommet using a screwdriver or expanding pliers and press through the antenna cables' connectors, one at a time.

Pull the antenna cables in through the hole and into the cargo compartment.
Reinstall the rubber grommet.
Following which, tension the cables.
Secure the cables as shown using cloth tape from the kit.
HINT: Securing the cables beside each other is facilitated with a little butyl tape and then by taping over them.

Continue to tape the cables as shown.
Tape down the cables almost up to the existing cable which enters the rubber grommet.

Leave a little flexibility and then secure the antenna cables at the existing cable with several rounds of tape.
Try to conceal the antenna cables under the existing cable.

Applies to cars with bracket in the car.

Remove the DVD drive with bracket from the body by detaching the four screws.
Cut away the cables' tie straps as necessary in order to remove the unit.

Applies when no bracket is in the car.

Install the small bracket (1) for the CD changer bracket, onto the rear crossmember under the left-hand rear lamp. Use the screw (2) from the kit.

Applies to all models

Install the Sirius unit in the bracket and secure it with three screws from the kit.
NOTE: Only 8 mm (5/16") long screws may be used. If longer screws are used then the unit may be damaged.

Reinstall the bracket with the Sirius control module in the car and screw in its screws.
Torque tighten to 10 Nm (7.5 lbf. ft.) .

Take the cable (1) for power supply from the kit.
Plug in the connector to the corresponding one on the Sirius unit.
Connect the antenna cables (2) to the corresponding color coded sockets on the Sirius unit.

Installation of the DIN cable. Applies to cars with RTI.

Take the DIN cable (1) from the kit.
Connect the end with the long/thicker round pins in the connector to the corresponding socket on the Sirius unit.
Connect the other end of the DIN cable to the corresponding socket in the DVD drive. The DIN cable can only be connected in one way.

Connection of the DIN cable. Applies to cars with SAT preparation.

Take the pre-routed SAT preparation connection which is taped in the vicinity of the left-hand rear lamp.
Connect the SAT preparation cable DIN connector to the corresponding socket (1) in the Sirius control module.

Connection of the DIN cable. Applies to cars with CD changer.

Detach the existing DIN cable (1) from the CD changer.
Plug one of the new DIN cable's connectors with long/thicker round pins into the CD changer.
Route both of the DIN cables on to the Sirius control module. Route them so that there is no risk of chafing or damage.
Connect the DIN cables' connectors to the corresponding ones on the Sirius control module. The DIN cables can only be connected in one way.

Applies to cars with Digital Jukebox

Separate the DIN connectors (1) on the cable to the jukebox from each other.

Connect the short DIN cable (1) from the kit between the Sirius unit and the short DIN cable in the jukebox.
Connect the long DIN cable (2) detached in the previous step to the remaining socket in the Sirius unit. Route the cables so that there is no risk of them being scraped off.

Connection of the DIN cable. Applies to cars without RTI, CD changer, Digital Jukebox or SAT preparation.

Connect the DIN cable routed on to the Sirius control module by plugging the connector with long/thicker round pins into the corresponding ones in the Sirius control module.
