Connecting the DVD reader
Applies to cars without a CD changer
Connect:
- the cable (1) for the display screen.
- the power supply cable (2) (green connector).
- the cable (3) for the Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna.
- DIN cable (4) for the radio
- Secure the cable harness at the cable duct. Use a tie strap (5) as shown.
Applies to cars with a CD changer
Connect:
- the cable (1) for the display screen.
- the power supply cable (2) (green connector) for the DVD reader.
- the cable (3) for the Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna.
- the short DIN cable (4) (purchased separately) between the CD changer and the DVD reader.
- the blue connector for power supply (5) on the new cable harness for the CD changer.
- the DIN cable (6) previously disconnected from the CD changer.
- Secure the cable harnesses. Use a tie strap (7).
Does not apply to USA/AUS
- Take the antenna amplifier (1) from the kit. Connect the cable (2) to the switch (3) for the antenna in the bumper by the right-hand tail lamp.
- Position the antenna amplifier on the panel edge in front of the right-hand tail lamp.
- Tighten the antenna amplifier onto the edge of the panel.
Does not apply to USA/AUS
- Take the transparent cable (D in the kit graphic) from the kit.
- Connect the green connector (1) to the DVD reader.
- Route the cable under the bracket for the DVD reader, continue along the cable harness in the rear crossmember and forwards to the right-hand tail lamp.
- Connect the cable to the lower socket (2) in the antenna amplifier.
- Secure the cable at the rear crossmember and under the bracket for the DVD reader. Use tie straps (3).
