Installing the keypad in the center console

• Remove the old aluminum bracket from the radio. Remove the five screws
• Install the new aluminum bracket (1) (from the kit). Screw into place using the five screws (2)
• Press the new keypad (3) onto the frame. Ensure that the keypad locks securely into both the radio and the frame.

Connect: 

• the green connector (1) from the new cable harness for the radio
• the previously disconnected green (GN) connector (2) from the radio to the green (GN) connector (3) in the new cable harness
• the connectors (4, 5) in the new cable harness to the keypad (6)
• the existing connectors (previously disconnected) to the radio.

• Insert the aluminum frame with the radio and keypad (1) almost all the way into the center console. Angle and lift up the frame so that the upper guide is in the correct position. Then insert the lower section of the frame so that it rests in the fixed position. Tighten using the screws (2)
• Connect the dashboard environment panel connectors
• Reinstall the dashboard environment panel (3). Angle and lift up the panel so that the upper guide is in the correct position. Then insert the lower section of the panel so that it rests in the fixed position
• Tighten the dashboard environment panel using the screw (4). Tighten to 3 Nm (2 lbf. ft.) 
• Press the gear selector lever panel into place.
