Telephone System: Connections
The handsfree microphone and telephone antenna are connected directly to the telephone box. All other communication between the keypad and the telephone box is carried out via a communication bus mounted on the right side of the car. It transfers audio signals, voltage and messages for communication.
- The handsfree microphone and telephone antenna are connected to the telephone box via cables with quick-release connectors. The connector cables for the handsfree microphone and telephone antenna are routed under the headlining to the left C post and along the parcel shelf to the telephone box.
NOTE:
The telephone antenna has a resistance of 0 W during supply (the usual type of antenna has a certain determined resistance).
- Wiring routing and component location is dependent on whether the car is left or right hand drive. (Handsfree loudspeaker and wiring go with the driver's seat.)
