RDS Radio Data System. System for transferring traffic information on the FM waveband.
REV Reverse. Choice of cassette tape direction.
Rheostat Instrument lighting intensity control.
RND Random. Random track choice or CD/MD disc in changer.
RTI Road and Traffic Information. System for route finding in traffic. The system uses satellites, digitally stored maps. gyros and traffic information broadcasts for route finding.
