Audio, Telephone, RTI (1999-2000): Glossary: D

Digital signal Signal which has only a limited number of levels, usually two.
DIM Driver Information Module. Module which controls the combined instrument panel display.
Diversity The diversity function reduces the risk of multi wave interference (Multipath).
Dolby B Noise reduction function registered by Dolby Laboratories.
Dolby Pro Logic System for dividing stereo channels registered by Dolby Laboratories.
DTC Diagnostic Trouble Codes registered by the on-board diagnostic (OBD) unit.
