Circuit test: Notes

The fault is caused by an open circuit in the wire from (or in) the lock unit. To find out which circuit contains the fault:

Remove the relay for locking to the deadlock position (2/115).

Remove lock unit connector and check for Contact resistance and oxidation .

Is there a fault? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Circuit test, continued 

Start by replacing the relay 2/115 for locking to the deadlock position in the boot relay/fuse box. At the same time check relay socket contacts for Contact resistance and oxidation .
