Checking the sensor resistance

Check resistance of both fuel gauge sensors. The resistance across the respective sensor may vary between 12 ohm (full tank) and 383 ohm (empty tank).

HINT: The resistance of the left fuel gauge sensor can be measured between fuel gauge sensor connectors 5 and 6. The resistance of the right fuel gauge sensor can be measured between fuel gauge sensor connectors 6 and 7. 

Do the necessary corrective action.

Is there a fault? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
