Checking cables

Check cables and connectors to the motor. If no fault is found, replace the sun roof module (SRM).

Remedy as necessary.

Check the cables and connectors of the sun roof module (SRM) for contact resistance and open-circuit.

Refer to Functionality check 

Check that the motor runs smoothly. Replace the motor as necessary.

Check that the sun roof opens properly. It should take approx. 6 seconds for the sun roof to completely open from the closed position. Check the mechanism as necessary. Clean and lubricate the rail.

Check the mechanism, rails and drive for unevenness. Replace the drive and/or mechanism as necessary.

Remedy as necessary.
