Verifying the tilt sensor

• Open the tailgate and press in the striker plate so that it cannot be closed.
• Lock the car with the remote control.
• Wait 25 seconds until the alarm is active. Trigger the alarm by detaching the tilt sensor and twisting it.

Does the alarm go off? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
