Turbocharger (TC): Removal

NOTE:

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting see BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING

Perform cooling system draining, charging and bleeding see COOLING SYSTEM - DRAINING, CHARGING AND BLEEDING

Remove the catalytic converter, see CATALYTIC CONVERTER (B5254T3, AW50/51 AWD; B5254T3, M66 AWD; 2005-2007) or CATALYTIC CONVERTER (B5254T3, AW55-50/51SN; B5254T3, M66; 2004-2007).

CAUTION:

Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.
