• Locate the black connector to the media player. Expose the cables from their foam for a length of about 150 mm (6").

• Cut off the cables in position 1, 2 and 4 so that the crimping sleeves at the splicing are pushed from each other as shown.
  1. Red (R) cable to position 1 (battery supply)
  2. Violet (VO) cable to position 2 (ignition supply)
  3. Black (SB) cable to position 4 (ground)
• Now connect the three cables routed, to the three cables in the connector to the media player, with blue (BL) crimping sleeves from the kit in accordance with the following:
  1. Red (R) cable to position 1 (battery supply)
  2. Violet (VO) cable to position 2 (ignition supply)
  3. Black (SB) cable to position 4 (ground)

Splicing with crimping sleeves is performed in accordance with the steps below.
