Removing The Muffler

Only applies at the first change: 

Cut between the front and rear exhaust pipe sections. Cut 125 mm from the rubber mounting towards the front muffler.

Remove: 

• the three rubber mountings from the muffler
• the muffler.

Applies to the second or later changes: 

Remove: 

• the 2 x M10 nuts for the clamp between the front and rear muffler
• the three rear rubber mountings from the muffler
• the muffler.

HINT: Tap carefully around the joint to crack any rust and soot deposits in the joint. Use a hammer. 

Remove the muffler.
