Faulty Signal (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011): Fault-Tracing: Verification

Check that the fault has been rectified by performing a new test for the DTC.

• Disconnect any battery chargers.
• Close doors, hood, and tailgate.
• Activate the alarm with the remote key.
  NOTE:

  If the vehicle is equipped with a Keyless vehicle module (KVM), the remote key must be positioned approx. 10 meters away from the vehicle in order to activate the alarm.

• Read off the DTCs in VIDA and check that CEM-CFF0 has changed status to intermittent.

Is the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) intermittent? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
