Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-CFF0

Condition 

The Central electronic module (CEM) checks the signal from the movement sensor module (MMS) or (IMS) to ensure that it does not have a short-circuit. If the signal has a short-circuit, this can cause abnormally fast discharging of the battery. A DTC is stored if the control module registers that the signal from the movement sensor (MMS) or (IMS) is incorrect. The DTC can be diagnosed at a locking attempt using the remote key.

• None

Possible Source 

• The signal has a short-circuit to voltage or ground.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Alarm/Alarm will not set off/No visible and/or audible signal
• Alarm/Other alarm problems
• Battery/Dead battery
• Battery/Weak or low electrical power
• Starting/Engine does not start/Engine does not turn/No clicking sound at start attempt
• Starting/Engine does not start/Engine does not turn/Unsure when/at all times
• Starting/Engine hard to start/cranks slowly/Unsure when/at all times
